Emma's Photo a Day 2018

I have no clue now why I took this photo back then but it’s all I have so obviously I was searching my room for anything and sadly this was it

This was very hard to make Instagram worthy and in the end I just gave up and starting drinking it instead.

Forgot how smelly fishing can be . . . But worth it for some peaceful time out on the water.

Been putting this off for ages, but at least I got around to ordering samples. They may get dusty on my desk before I look at them however.

Well I’m glad I at least took this as it seems it was the only photo for the day. Someone needs to give me more direction so I’m forced to stop being lazy.

Despite saying Berry this is largely hisbiscus flower which I quite like, so many good addiction to my fruit tea selection at work. Sometimes efffective at stopping me eating lollies . . . 

This is what happens when I get behind and forget. No photo day :( This is one I took after midnight on the 15th as I thought I had done nothing on the 14th but obviously was not aware of the time until I woke up in the morning . . . . Sadly did not have the same thought on this night. 

New uniforms, they’re quite full on in colour . . .

Completely forgotten I had taken this photo of a bird dragged in by Clover. She was most upset when I wouldn’t let her play with it any longer. Hopefully it hopped it’s way to safety once I returned it to the garden. 

One of the layers wasn’t the best but overall pretty happy.

The cat was very sad until I switched the heater on, the she went to her happy place.

Still don’t know how the door opened itself or I didn’t hear the noise.

I actually took a few photos today and none can really accurately describe the wind and rain that descended in the evening. Funnily enough this candle wasn’t even used when I lost power but earlier in the day while I was home sick.

Little did I know taking this that the next day half these leaves would be scattered across the ground, although luckily very little branches down.

Up Mt Eden again but tried to mix it up, but shadows and people made it quite hard to get a proper photo and I was getting hot so wasn’t going to hang around for too long.

Some tough locales this time, awkward party takedown can behind one and impossible shopping mall for another with people everywhere.

This thing was doing all kinds of breaking down. Finally have it back now, both totally new inside and still a bit broken visually but at least I didn’t have to buy a whole new one.

This took up too much of my last 6 months, yay for a short break before starting the next one

As filters go this is quite a favourite. Makes lame days look so much more exciting!

It started small and then grew and grew.

Getting a bit confused with these. Newmarket through Parnell and along the waterfront to St Heliers today.  A beautiful day for a walk but that means the footpaths of the waterfront are very narrow for the various users and not all people on bikes use bells wisely . . . 

An intense combo of April Fools, daylight savings and Easter Sunday makes for an early start, a long day, and a lot of chocolate.   Went home via an old Apple Cider orchard. Picking apples not like you get in the supermarket, being wary of the ones with slaters inside! But their giant size made all the peeling quite economical so now I’ve got some crumbles sorted over winter. 

Not calm around the house area by any means, especially with the addition of many animals but a pretty view and peace in the evening.

Another day, another chance to head off on a walk through the city. Zoo to Kingsland, up Mt Eden and to Uptown (which I don’t think anyone calls it)

So very exciting, happy house warming present to me. So many decisions on what to blend/beat first . . . 

Taking the filters too far again so this image is pretty hard to figure out what it even is?

This required filters but I am not good at them so it does look pretty weird.

The start of a week of chocolate. These ones were delicious though, they lasted as long as 24 hours.

A very sunny next day . . . Oh well. My items from the wedding all made it back in one piece too. Luckily some dance floor split red wine on my dress was easy enough to wash out.
