Unsure why they couldn’t just have a footpath rather than section off a piece of the road quite randomly.

So cold. So cold. Can’t believe there was no frost on the grass this morning.  When I got home after work I could smell the smoke in the air from all the wood fires burning. Sadly ours was not one as there is no wood. 

The cold is real, and the warmth in the colours of the morning sky I wish I could wake up to. Breakfast in front of the fireplace would be delightful.

Watching is not fun, this healing better happen fast. Kinda glad to miss this game though as there was a drone filming our game! Having to watch back over my game play would have been terrifying seeing all the stupid things I probably do. 

Getting out and about today, trying hard to get a good photo but the beautiful building does help

Something new on the desk today. It really was intended as a back up photo but it’s dark when I get home and there wasn’t really anything else to capture.

Cos if it was me and it was a wet and windy night place I’d rather snuggle up than a tile floor . . . Granted it does have underfloor heating and her belly her quite cushioning.

Sooooo cold.

Eating the fruits of my French labour

Very unhappy kitten this morning as her food is down to the last crumb, not how she likes things to be at all

Planning ahead is required for this one, safe and sound in the freezer ready to be bought out and eaten

Running out of things on my desk

So many bits and pieces but in the end new tv was up and running without too much drama

No one on the field before or after is which was a bit odd.

At 12 it seemed a good pattern. Although the other side which I have on show more often is green/blue

Not the best watercolour but the carpark isn’t all that exciting

If only it was a morning I didn’t need to open the gates and go outside.

It doesn’t make me write anymore clearly but it feels so much nicer than plastic pens.

The canal system, they’ve tried to make it scenic with a few benches so I don’t think it’s high on many peoples list of spots to lunch

One of our three main points to focus on in our games from our coach in pre match talks is communication. This was not followed at drinks afterward when chips to share were ordered by every person attending haha. But they were all finished so maybe none of us felt like sharing . . .

A walk from Birkenhead to Takapuna this day to find the last of the owls, with one day to spare before they’re taken away. Well deserved cocktails and food to celebrate after. Mmmm roti roll, such a genius food group. 

You may think the focus of the photo is the right shiny car front and centre but actually it was annoyingly right in the way. Although the plywood fence also does a great job of blocking the view. My apartment to be . . . Still not looking very done so hopefully they speed that along, or maybe it’s the inside being worked on.

Would be nicer to have a mini beach to walk past but any kind of water is quite nice.

Someone had fun driving in the mud pit . . .

Not quite sure what this is meant to be or if it has a purpose but I saw it creepily looking out at me as I walked past.

I’m sure not actual sunrise as I’m not awake for those but near enough. Also the first photo I took didn’t capture it at all, amazing was touching the screen to focus does . . . 

I cannot even remember taking this, which is actually a little concerning so I really should just paying more attention to these photos. There was another option for the day but it wasn’t good at all.  But apparently this is the theme of my room, Harbour Bridge and tramping. There’s also a Ghana cityscape at the other end. 

More malls but surprisingly not horrendously busy which was nice.

Rubbish collection seems a bit weird these days, it had to be hidden behind the hedge? And then this poor headlight got left behind . . .

Only 2 today, but at the furthest locations. The Botanic Gardens which we actually quite lovely and very busy. But still easy to find a spot to picnic in peace.  Then the absolute chaos of the Manukau Westfield, possibly made worse by not opening til 1 being ANZAC day. And then the owl wasn’t actually there but at a mini mall further down the road. 

Looking back at this now I think it’s my partition at work but it’s a completely different colour in the photo so a bit confusing.

Took my laptop home on Thursday so I could do some work after fishing. By then TOTALLY forgot about it come Monday morning til I was walking across the office to my desk and realised it was still on my desk at home . . . After tossing up going back home for it, the traffic was making that a no go, luckily there was a storm are desk with an actual hard drive and after a quick call to IT to unlock my account, success.  Apart from the fact that all my shortcuts were missing so it was a long day. Needless to say it was put under my bag ready as soon as I got home.
